Stipulation Added To Edge Vs. AJ Styles At WWE WrestleMania Backlash

Edge and AJ Styles' match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash was altered on last night's Raw.

Last night's Raw saw a stipulation added to the upcoming rematch between Edge vs. AJ Styles.

The two are set to face off at WWE WrestleMania Backlash this weekend, following their initial bout at WrestleMania 38 last month. Styles lost that match thanks to a distraction from Damian Priest, who has since formed an alliance with Edge known as 'Judgment Day.'

It was Priest that AJ faced last night, under the condition that if Priest lost, he'd be banned from ringside at WrestleMania Backlash. Styles got the win, and Damian will therefore be unable to interfere on Sunday.

This raises the question of whether we'll see another WWE roster-member join Edge's group. The rumour of a heel stable centred around the Rated-R Superstar was circulated heavily in the build to WrestleMania 38, with Priest the only Superstar to join him thus far.

Styles was attacked by Edge and Priest after last night's match, but was saved by Finn Balor.

The other bouts set for WrestleMania Backlash are:

  • Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey - 'I Quit' Match for the SmackDown Women's Championship
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Omos
  • Happy Corbin vs. Madcap Moss
  • Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. Drew McIntyre & RK-Bro
