Tag Team Title Match Scheduled For WWE Monday Night Raw
Playing off a recent title change...
Six title bouts are scheduled for Sunday's SummerSlam card in Toronto, while a seventh one will take place the following night on Raw, obviously featuring champions who aren't a part of the pay-per-view.
The Women's Tag Team titles will be on the line, as Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defend the belts against The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane.
The belts just changed hands on this past Monday's episode of Raw in Pittsburgh, when Bliss and Cross won a four-way elimination match over Asuka and Sane, defending champions The IIconics, and Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille.
Bliss pinned Sane in the final fall to win that four-way match. The belt is the first of any sort held by Cross under the WWE banner.
Also scheduled for Monday's Raw is a match pitting Dolph Ziggler against The Miz. The match was originally scheduled for this weekend's SummerSlam, before Miz was swapped out in favor of Goldberg, in light of Ziggler's weekly mockery of the former WCW and World Heavyweight champion.
