Tag Team Title Rematch Booked For AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

A big rematch is set for AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

A rematch for the AEW World Tag Team Championships has been booked for All Elite Wrestling's Dynamite Grand Slam show from Arthur Ashe Stadium on Wednesday, September 21.

It was announced during this week's Dynamite that The Acclaimed will challenge Swerve In Our Glory for the gold in New York City. Shortly after the match was made official, The Acclaimed were set to perform a highly-anticipated rap but it was interrupted by Swerve Strickland. A back and forth then ensued which ended with Anthony Bowens scissoring 'Daddy Ass' Billy Gunn.

Keith Lee responded to the incident, tweeting: "I turn my back for all of a couple minutes.... *sigh*"

Swerve In Our Glory first faced off with The Acclaimed at the Sunday, September 4, All Out pay-per-view. The fans in Chicago were molten for a potential Acclaimed win but Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland ultimately came out on top. Tony Khan noted following the pay-per-view that the best match for Dynamite Grand Slam would be a rematch between the two tag teams.
