Team 2.0 Wins 2021 Men's WWE NXT WarGames Match

New school wins at WarGames

New school stands tall at NXT WarGames.

In a battle of new vs. old, Team 2.0 (Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller and Tony D'Angelo) faced Team Black And Gold (Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne and LA Knight) in the Men's WarGames match on December 5.

The match featured several big moments, including multiple table bumps from Grayson Waller, Bron Breakker struggling to use bolt cutters, the return of Dexter Lumis to chase off Trick Williams, and several callbacks to #DIY and the Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa feud - crutch and all.

The #DIY callbacks even looked to have paid off after Gargano and Ciampa decked Bron Breakker with their tag team finisher, only for Carmelo Hayes to pull the referee to break the count.

Ciampa then looked to put Hayes away with a Fairytale Ending but Breakker suddenly Speared the NXT Champion through a table. Moments later, Breakker hoisted Ciampa into the air and decked him with a Powerslam to win the match for Team 2.0.

Breakker and his teammates then stood tall as NXT WarGames went off the air.

Team 2.0 vs. Team Black And Gold was the second WarGames match of the night as Team Toxic Attraction and Dakota Kai failed to defeat Cora Jade, Io Shirai, Raquel Gonzalez and Kay Lee Ray in a match in which WWE put a big spotlight on the 20-year-old Jade
