The Miz & Ciampa Form Alliance On WWE Raw

An unlikely alliance was formed on the July 4 edition of Monday Night Raw. 

The Miz was in action on last night's Raw and he suffered a loss to AJ Styles following a Phenomenal Forearm. Following the match, though, Ciampa suddenly attacked Styles from behind. The Phenomenal One quickly fought back and he was about to deck Ciampa with a Styles Clash but Miz suddenly levelled his Raw opponent with a Skull-Crushing Finale.

Ciampa and Miz then looked at each other before they shook hands, cementing their new friendship. 

Ciampa has been involved in Miz's other segments in recent months, taking out Mustafa Ali after the former SmackDown Hacker defeated The A-Lister back on April 25. It appeared at the time that Ciampa was simply attacking Ali but he was seemingly doing it to help Miz. 

Why Ciampa has decided to help Miz is currently unknown. The two-time NXT Champion has been a permanent member of Monday Night Raw since NXT Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania weekend.
