Thunder Rosa Pulled From AEW All Out With Injury, Interim Title Match Announced

The Women's World champion will miss the pay-per-view

AEW Women's World champion Thunder Rosa announced during Wednesday's AEW Dynamite that she will have to miss next Sunday's All Out pay-per-view, due to injury.

With Rosa sidelined for the foreseeable future, a four-way match has been added to All Out to crown an interim champion. The participants include Toni Storm, Dr. Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida.

Storm was originally supposed to challenge Rosa for the title at the pay-per-view, before the change was made.

Baker and Shida are both former AEW Women's World champions. Shida reigned for one year from May 2020 to May 2021, before dropping the gold to Baker, who went on to reign for ten months before losing the belt to Rosa.

The current card for AEW All Out, taking place Sunday, September 4 at the Now Arena in Chicago, includes the following:

* Interim AEW Women's World: Toni Storm vs. Dr. Britt Baker vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Hikaru Shida

* AEW Trios Tag Team tournament final: participants TBD

* Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho

* Wardlow and FTR vs. Jay Lethal and The Motor City Machine Guns

* Casino Ladder Match: participants TBD
