AEW Has Announced A TNT Championship Match For The Post-Revolution Episode Of AEW Dynamite
Although all eyes are pointing towards the AEW Revolution 2023 PPV, there are already plans in place for the post-Revolution episode of AEW Dynamite on March 8.
After winning the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match on the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Powerhouse Hobbs earned himself a shot at the TNT Championship, and his opportunity will be granted next week. Hobbs will face the winner of the huge clash at this Sunday’s PPV event between the reigning and defending TNT Champion & ROH TV Champion, Samoa Joe, and his heated rival Wardlow.
Hobbs was embroiled in a feud with these two men previously, as they did battle in a three-way match at the Full Gear PPV, so there is history no matter which man walks out of Revolution with the gold. The two previous winners of the big brass ring - Scorpio Sky and Wardlow - each became TNT Champion at some point over the next 18 months, but failed to do so in their initial challenge for the gold. Hobbs looks to break this curse and win the TNT Title next week.
