Tony Khan Confirms Return Of AEW TV Special

A big TV special is coming back for another year

Alongside their slate of pay-per-views, All Elite Wrestling hold several Dynamite specials throughout the year, including Beach Break, Fyter Fest, St. Patrick's Day Slam, Fight for the Fallen, and New Year's Smash.

The promotion have also held a Winter is Coming Dynamite special since 2020 and Tony Khan confirmed on My Mom's Basement that the themed episode will return in 2022.

"I can tell you that there will be Winter is Coming again this year," Khan said.

While not a pay-per-view, Winter is Coming has featured major events in the last two years. The 2020 edition saw the AEW debut of Sting and Kenny Omega's AEW World Title win, with the show going off the air as Don Callis revealed Omega would be appearing on IMPACT Wrestling later that week. The 2021 edition of Winter is Coming, meanwhile, saw Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson fight to a time-limit draw in their AEW World Title match.

When AEW will hold the next Winter is Coming was not revealed but Khan noted earlier this year that he would love to bring the show back to Dallas
