Tony Khan Denies AEW All In Is Only Set Up For 40,000 Fans

Tony Khan calls out Nick Khan and an ESPN reporter over AEW All In

Tony Khan has denied All Elite Wrestling's All In is only set up for 40,000 fans in a tweet in which he also called out WWE CEO Nick Khan.

Tickets for AEW's UK debut at Wembley Stadium went on sale through two presales on Tuesday, May 2 and reports noted that over 35,000 tickets had been sold during the first nine hours.

A tweet from F4W Online about the ticket sale prompted a response from ESPN's boxing reporter Mike Coppinger, who claimed: "Hearing Wembley is scaled for only 40K for AEW - far cry from last April when I was ringside for Tyson Fury-Dillian Whyte and it was packed to the brim with 94,000. Nothing beats the big-fight feel at Wembley."

This prompted a furious response from AEW CEO Tony Khan, who initially replied: "LIES. What a load of crap. Tell your agent Nick Khan to shove it up his ass."

Khan then added: "Since you carry the credentials of a credible reporter + represent the Worldwide Leader, I'm just curious: who was your source for this, and how can a reporter representing ESPN tweet something about a legit news story that's so blatantly wrong and easily verified as a falsehood?"

Coppinger has not responded to Khan's tweets as of the time of writing.

AEW All In will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 27. The seat map for the event suggests that All In is set up to host around 90,000 fans for what will be the biggest show in the promotion's history.
