Tony Khan On AEW Interest In Zelina Vega: "I'd Be Interested To See Where She's At"

Could she end up in AEW?

Zelina Vega's non-compete clause expired a couple of weeks ago and AEW President Tony Khan admitted he'd be interested in speaking to the former WWE Superstar following the Revolution pay-per-view.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Khan said: "Isn't she in a 90-day non-compete? She was in a non-compete last time I checked. I've been waiting for that... I don't talk to people when they have the non-compete. If hers expired, it must have just expired. I've been waiting on her non-compete to expire. I'd have to check the math to see if she expired. When we get through this tournament and through this pay-per-view, I'd be interested to see where she's at."

Vega previously worked in WWE but she was fired by the company for breach of contract in November 2020 after she opened an OnlyFans account. WWE had previously introduced a third-party ban on platforms like Twitch, Cameo and YouTube to stop Superstars from supplementing their income and WWE sources told Sports Illustrated at the time they felt Vega's OnlyFans account "boxed them into a difficult situation."
