Two Major Upcoming WWE Matches Filmed Ahead Of Time

A pair of relevant bouts have already been recorded...

Two major WWE title bouts that won't air until the month of June have already been filmed, according to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

The final match of the Intercontinental title tournament pitting AJ Styles against Daniel Bryan was filmed at the tapings that took place on Tuesday, May 26. Sources told Sapp that the match was "unbelievable", and it, "...legitimately pumped up a very tired NXT PC crowd that was there to cheer."

The match will air on the June 12 edition of WWE SmackDown.

Also filmed ahead of time is the NXT title bout between champion Adam Cole and challenger Velveteen Dream. Reportedly for the match, the ring is situated behind Full Sail University, and will be surrounded by the cars of the wrestlers.

Sapp's report also claims that filming of the match took place on Thursday night, and was delayed by two hours from its intended 9 PM start time, due to rain.

That match is scheduled to air on Sunday, June 7, as part of NXT's "In Your House" TakeOver.
