United States Title Rematch Set For WWE Raw

Could a new United States Champion be crowned during next week's season premiere of Monday Night Raw?

It was announced during the October 3 episode of Raw from St. Paul, Minnesota, that Bobby Lashley will defend his title next week against Seth Rollins. The match was booked after Lashley defeated Mustafa Ali, only to sustain a Stomp on the United States Championship from Rollins. Lashley then promised to take The Visionary out once he had recovered. 

Lashley defended the title against Rollins on September 19, a match which The All Mighty won following a distraction from Matt Riddle. Lashley has been United States Champion since July's Money In The Bank pay-per-view. 

Johnny Gargano vs. Austin Theory was also booked for the October 10 episode of Monday Night Raw. The former faction-mates have been feuding since Gargano's WWE return and Theory cost Johnny Wrestling a win over Otis on last night's show. 

Already announced for next week's Raw is the 25th anniversary of D-Generation X and an appearance from Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
