Update On Kurt Angle Following Back Surgery

Kurt Angle gives an update on his condition following back surgery.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has given an update on his condition after undergoing back surgery. On his own podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympian explained:

"I think it actually worked. I don't know yet, but I don't have the pain going down my legs. So the operation definitely worked. I'm hoping that the pain in my back will subside, and hopefully it will in the next few days, and then I'll feel really good about it. But the doctor did a great job. He really did. I was having problems with my legs and the nerves going down my legs. That's all gone, so I'm good with that."

Angle has been retired from in-ring competition since a loss to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 - but did recently express that he'd be willing to partake in a cinematic match, having enjoyed the Boneyard Match between The Undertaker and AJ Styles on night one of WrestleMania 36, which took place during lockdown restrictions.
