Update On Potential WWE-UFC Crossover

More on potential crossover between WWE and UFC

Ever since aligning under the TKO umbrella, fans have wondered if WWE and UFC will ever officially cross-over, either for co-branded events, or for fighters from each organisation crossing over into the other.

UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis has reportedly been in talks with WWE about crossing over, with UFC head Dana White saying the following about potential crossovers during the post-show press conference following UFC Fight night on May 11:

“I would do anything for Derrick Lewis. I really like Derrick Lewis a lot. Listen, some of the fighters who fight here have always dreamed about doing a WWE match or whatever it is and I don’t have a problem with that,” White said. “I didn’t have a problem with that when Vince [McMahon] was consistently f****** me for no reason and now that that’s not the case anymore, I, obviously, would absolutely do it.”

Even before they were aligned, several stars crossed over between UFC and WWE, with the likes of Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, and Ronda Rousey swapping the Octagon for the squared circle, whilst Brock Lesnar, and CM Punk went the other way.
