Update On WWE's Contract Offer For Bullet Club's "Hangman" Adam Page

He didn't turn them down...

Earlier this week it was reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE had made "Hangman" Adam Page an offer which the Bullet Club member turned down. The offer was said to have inspired Page's bit on the latest Being The Elite YouTube show where he received a pair of cowboy boots with a note that read: “if you want to be an assassin, be more cerebral. – H”.

However, in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Uncle Dave has provided an update on the situation, claiming that while Page hasn't accepted any WWE offer, he hasn't said no and has asked them for time to think it over.

It's only a little one, but here's the quote from this week's Newsletter:

"There has been serious WWE interest in Page in real life. He didn’t accept the offer but it was apparently more of a needs time to decide answer. I would take that as waiting until the end of the year."

During the edition of WOR where Meltzer broke the news, he also reported that various sources were claiming Page would be open to a move to WWE, but only if his fellow Bullet Club members joined him. If he is waiting till the end of the year to make a decision, that presumably has to be down to the likes of The Young Bucks' contracts with certain promotions coming to an end. The Bucks referenced their contract status during that latest Being The Elite so there's absolutely no doubt we're heading into a good few months of rumour and innuendo surrounding theirs, and the rest of the BC's, respective statuses.
