Vic Joseph Was "Spent" After WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver

"I didn't know my name, my eyes were rolling around."

NXT Commentator Vic Joseph admitted on After The Bell that he was "spent" following night two of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver last week.

Joseph was the play-by-play announcer for both nights of TakeOver and he revealed that his blood sugar levels dropped during the main event between Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole and he started to feel sick.

"In the middle of the main event between Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole, Unsanctioned... Graves, have you ever been into a match where you felt sick, like you were just so into it you're like, 'Oh man, this better end soon because I'm losing it. I'm draining?'... I was fading," Joseph said.

"Long story short, match ends I go into the back. I see McKenzie [Mitchell] and McKenzie looks at me dead in the eye and she knew something was wrong. I didn't know my name, my eyes were rolling around. I was spent."

Something good did come out of the situation for Joseph, though, as Stephanie McMahon agreed to be a guest on After The Bell after checking on him backstage.

Joseph continued: "Stephanie McMahon's standing next to somebody and kind of leans forward like, 'What's going on over there?' I'm eating this like brown bar of fig apple healthy stuff... So, she looks at me and she goes, 'Are you okay?' And I kind of like for some reason walked to her and I was like, 'I just get so into it.' And we had this long conversation, by the end of it I just looked her in the eyes like a sad puppy dog and was, 'Hey, would you like to come on After The Bell this weekend at WrestleMania?' And she went, 'I would love to, let's get it done.'"
