Vince McMahon Forfeits Unvested WWE Stock

Vince McMahon gives up unvested shares in WWE

Vince McMahon has forfeited unvested stocks in WWE, a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on July 26 has revealed. 

The filing noted McMahon forfeited 38,519 unvested stock units in connection with his retirement from WWE. The former WWE CEO and Chairman still owns 69,157 shares in WWE and he continues to hold voting power in the company.  

The filing noted the forfeited shares "consists of a portion of unvested stock units previously reported in Table I which were forfeited by Mr. McMahon in connection with his retirement from the Company effective July 22, 2022."

The forfeited shares "excludes 100 shares of Class A Common Stock owned individually by Mr. McMahon's wife, Linda McMahon. Mr. McMahon disclaims beneficial ownership of those shares."

Vince McMahon announced his retirement from WWE on Friday, July 22. Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan have since been installed as Co-CEOs. Paul "Triple H" Levesque is the new head of creative and The Game was appointed Executive Vice President of Talent Relations just hours before Vince's retirement.
