Wingstop To Be Featured On The Ring Mat At WWE SummerSlam

WWE are adding more sponsors to the ring mat at SummerSlam. 

It was announced today that Wingstop will serve as the presenting partner of SummerSlam. The partnership will see Wingstop have 'two corner mat signage placements', akin to what All Elite Wrestling do for DraftKings, and Wingstop will present the SummerSlam Kickoff on Friday. 

SummerSlam 2024 will emanate from Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday, August 3. The show will get underway at 7 pm ET/12 am BST. 

WWE have looked to add more sponsorships to their programming since the UFC merger under TKO Group Holdings in September 2023. WWE secured a deal with Logan Paul's PRIME for the energy drink company to be WWE's first-ever ring mat sponsor and the PRIME logo has been featured in the centre of the ring for WWE pay-per-views since WrestleMania 40. 

Wingstop and WWE have worked together in recent years and the fast food chicken restaurant sponsored Jade Cargill, Naomi and Bianca Belair vs. Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 40. 

"Alongside our partners at Wingstop, we are excited to unlock new branding opportunities from ring mat placements to a unique Presenting Partner campaigns," TKO Executive Vice President & Head of Global Partnerships Grant Norris-Jones said.

The card for SummerSlam 2024 is as follows:

• Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker - Intercontinental Championship
• Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight - United States Championship
