WWE Extends SummerSlam Pre-Show To 3 Hours

Even longer WWE pre-show for SummerSlam

If you're a fan of WWE's pre-shows you're in for a treat! 

WWE have extended the length of their pre-shows since WrestleMania 40, with the pay-per-view regularly taking place after a two-hour pre-show. SummerSlam 2024's pre-show will be even longer, though, and WWE announced during Raw that the Countdown show before SummerSlam will be three hours long, beginning at 4 pm ET/9 pm BST. The pre-show will go head-to-head with AEW Collision, which begins at 5 pm ET. 

The Miz will also be the host of SummerSlam, with the show taking place in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. 

SummerSlam will emanate from Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday, August 3. The SummerSlam 2024 card is as follows: 

  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa - Undisputed WWE Championship 
  • Damian Priest (c) vs. Gunther - World Heavyweight Championship 
  • CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre - Seth Rollins is the special guest referee
  • Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax - WWE Women's Championship 
  • Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley - Women's World Championship
  • Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker - Intercontinental Championship
  • Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight - United States Championship
  • Jelly Roll to perform
