WWE Hall Of Famer Used To Keep NXT Return A Secret

WWE NXT return kept secret this week

A WWE Hall of Famer was used to keep an NXT return secret ahead of the April 30 episode at the WWE Performance Center.

It was announced on Tuesday night's show that a six-woman Ladder Match will take place at Battleground on June 9 to crown the inaugural NXT Women's North American Champion. The competitors in the ladder match will be determined in the coming weeks. A combine will be held on May 7 to bring the field down to 12 before qualifying matches are held across NXT TV in the run-up to Battleground.

The OC's Michin appeared on the show, declaring for the combine, and she appeared in a segment with Sol Ruca, Jaida Parker, and Arianna Grace around the NXT Women's North American Championship, with the former Mia Yim noting she had unfinished business in NXT.

Michin's appearance on NXT was kept secret and she was internally listed on NXT rundowns as "Alundra Blayze", according to Fightful Select's Corey Brennan. Madusa has appeared on WWE TV in recent days, announcing picks during the WWE Draft.

Michin was previously featured on NXT TV from 2018 to 2020, when she moved to the main roster as part of the much-maligned Retribution faction. She was released in November 2021 but returned to WWE in November 2022. Michin is now part of The OC with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
