WWE Money In The Bank Is Changing Venues

The event is moving out of Allegiant Stadium

WWE has announced a change of venue for July's Money in the Bank pay-per-view, via a mailer sent to ticketholders (h/t Sean Ross Sapp).

Money in the Bank will now take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 2, instead of the planned location of Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.

All ticket purchases for the event at Allegiant Stadium have been automatically refunded.

The mailer notes, "As a ticket holder for the event originally scheduled for Allegiant Stadium, you will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets before anyone else."

The new on-sale date for Money in the Bank is this coming Wednesday, June 1.

No reason has been given by WWE for the change in venue. The company ran Allegiant Stadium for last year's SummerSlam, drawing a reported 51,326 fans to the venue.

This will be the 13th annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Since 2017, the event has included ladder matches for both the men's and women's divisions, with the winners earning the right to challenge for a World title at any time over the ensuing year.
