WWE NXT 2.0 Viewership In 18-49 Demo Drops 30% For September 28 episode

A big drop for NXT 2.0

NXT 2.0's ratings fell for the second week in a row since the show's revamp on September 14.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics noted the September 28 episode averaged 655,000 total viewers and drew a 0.14 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, estimated to be 185,000 viewers. 

Total viewership was ultimately down 12 percent from last week's show and viewership in the 18-49 demo plummeted by 30 percent from September 21. Last week's show drew 746,000 total viewers and 260,000 in 18-49. 

According to Showbuzz Daily, NXT 2.0 ranked #32 on cable in the 18-49 demo. Teen Mom was #1 on cable with a 0.26 rating.

For the month of September as a whole, NXT's median viewership was up one percent from September 2020 in total viewers, but down three percent from last year in the 18-49 demo. 

The September 28 edition of NXT featured three title matches, including an NXT Women's Championship match between champion Raquel Gonzalez and Franky Monet. Full results from the show can be found here.
