WWE Planning Headquarters Move In Late 2022

WWE is moving house

WWE is planning on relocating their headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, and is hoping to begin the move in late 2022.

WWE has been based at Titan Towers in Stamford since 1985 but the company confirmed in 2019 that the building would be sold and WWE's HQ would be relocated to 677 Washington Boulevard, two miles down the road.

The initial plan had been for WWE to complete the move during 2021 but the COVID-19 Pandemic led to a temporary suspension of those plans. A WWE Spokesperson has now confirmed to Hearst Connecticut Media, per the Stamford Advocate, that the move across to the new HQ will begin in the fourth quarter of 2022.

WWE will be leasing approximately 45,000 square feet for offices and a production centre at their new home.

Kristina Salen, WWE’s Chief Financial Officer, confirmed on the July 29 financial earnings call that the promotion intends to proceed with the relocation of its headquarters.

She said: "We anticipate spending on the company’s new headquarters as we restart this project in the second half of 2021. For 2021, we’ve estimated total (capital expenditures) of $85 million to $105 million to begin construction as well as to enhance WWE’s production and technology infrastructure.

"The increase in capital expenditures for 2021 reflects the acceleration of certain construction spends, as the overall cost of construction has not materially increased."
