WWE Rehash Old Storyline On Raw

The long-running rivalry between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio continued on last night's episode of Raw.

The Monday Night Messiah has got the better of the Mysterio family at every turn so far and Rollins' streak continued as he announced he had DNA test results which revealed Rey was not his daughter Aalyah's biological father. Seth then claimed Aalyah consoling Murphy last week was concrete evidence she wasn't a Mysterio.

Rollins asked Rey's daughter what she was doing but The Master Of The 619 stopped her from answering and told Seth she is naive and "knows nothing about our world." This only angered Aaliyah who proceeded to head backstage without her family. 

WWE has, of course, already done this storyline with Rey Mysterio 15 years ago. Throughout the summer of 2005, Eddie Guerrero claimed he was Dominik's biological father and Latino Heat and Mysterio went one on one in a Ladder Match at SummerSlam for custody of Rey's son. Fans have fond memories of the feud but primarily because of the two Superstars involved as opposed to the actual storyline.
