Creed Brothers set for Josh Barnett's Bloodsport XI
WWE's The Creed Brothers have been added to Josh Barnett's Bloodsport XI.
Josh Barnett tweeted: "From the amateur wrestling mats, to the ring of @WWENXT, this pair of brutes are now storming their way to Bloodsport mat. Brutus and Julius Creed are coming to Josh Barnett's: Bloodsport XI."
Bloodsport XI will emanate from Brooklyn, New York on July 28. Already announced for the show is Mike Santana vs. Homicide and the likes of Mike Bailey, Masha Slamovich, Matt Makowski, and AKIRA will be in action. WWE's Shayna Baszler will also be involved at the show. Who will face Brutus and Julius Creed has yet to be revealed.
WWE began working with Josh Barnett's Bloodsport earlier this year when Shayna Baszler wrestled at Bloodsport over WrestleMania 40 weekend. The former WWE NXT Women's Champion defeated Masha Slamovich and Baszler was accompanied to the ring by Zoey Stark. NXT's Charlie Dempsey was also in action on the show, defeating Matt Makowski.
Josh Barnett has asked WWE for talents to work the indy show for years but WWE's policy changed following the UFC merger under TKO, with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and Barnett said to be friends.
