WWE Teases Alexa Bliss' Return To Monday Night Raw

Bliss has been absent since September

WWE have teased Alexa Bliss' impending return to WWE television in the near future.

The promotion announced on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw that the January 10 edition of WWE's flagship show will see Bliss' 'journey back to WWE Raw'. No details have been provided as to what this actually means, but it was noted during the announcement that Bliss has not been sighted on WWE TV in around four months.

Bliss has been missing since September amid reports that the former Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion has been recovering following sinus-related surgery.

Within WWE storyline, Bliss' absence stems from the events of WWE Extreme Rules 2021, a show in which she challenged Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship. Flair would successfully retain the Title before grabbing Bliss' doll, Lily, and ripping it into pieces.

Once Bliss had recovered from her loss, she was emotionally distraught about Flair's actions, with Bliss visibly inconsolable about Lily's destruction.

There has been speculation as to which character Bliss will portray upon her return to WWE, and whether she remains with her spooky-inspired character or returns to a personality more akin to her 'Little Miss Bliss' persona.
