2 Cold Scorpio Arrested Following Stabbing Incident

The former wrestling star has been charged with two felonies.

Former WCW, ECW and WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio has been arrested after being involved in a violent stabbing incident.

According to TMZ, Scorpio (real name Charles Scaggs) was arrested at 3:40 AM on June 15 after he allegedly stabbed a man during a fight at a gas station. The incident took place Love's Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri.

Authorities noted that Scaggs told them he was working as a security guard for the establishment when he saw a man light up a cigarette inside the store. He then claimed he told the man he could not smoke inside, at which point the man became hostile. Scaggs claimed the man then threatened him and they went outside where, during a scuffle, he stabbed the man in self-defence.

Police discovered the man - who denies lighting a cigarette inside the store - on the ground and bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen. He was then transported to a local hospital (while drifting in and out of consciousness).

The man claims that Scaggs was the aggressor in the situation.

The former ECW World Television Champion has since been charged with one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action, both of which are felonies.

Scaggs bonded out of prison and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is due back in court for another hearing next month.
