AEW Holds Talks With Kayla Braxton

Could Kayla Braxton be heading to All Elite Wrestling?

Speaking about Braxton's next destination on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW have held talks with Braxton. The former WWE backstage interviewer could also reportedly "see the writing on the wall" for her time with the company. 

"It might be AEW, it might not. There definitely was talk between her and AEW. She was looking to other things as well. It was one of those things, I was told she could see the writing on the wall. They pretty much decided that Cathy Kelley and Jackie Redmond were gonna be the top two ones. So she was number three so I think by that she kind of could see maybe it's time to go somewhere else," Meltzer said.

Kayla Braxton announced over the weekend that she would be parting ways with WWE following the June 28 episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Madison Square Garden. Reports have noted Braxton's deal with WWE had recently expired and she was working in the company under a verbal agreement. 

Braxton joined WWE in 2016 and had a variety of roles in the company, including backstage interviewer, ring announcer, and host of The Bump.
