AEW Revolution Announced For February 27

The second annual has much to live up to...

AEW doesn't return to pay-per-view for sixteen more weeks, but when they' do, it'll be with the second annual Revolution.

It was announced during Saturday night's Full Gear pay-per-view that the 2021 Revolution will take place on Saturday, February 27. No location was announced, but Daily's Place in Jacksonville feels like the safest bet as things stand.

Last year's Revolution took place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The night concluded with Jon Moxley kicking off his AEW World Heavyweight title reign by defeating Chris Jericho in the evening's main event.

Also notable from that card was the critically-acclaimed World Tag Team title match in which Kenny Omega and Adam "Hangman" Page retained their titles over The Young Bucks.

It'll likely be some time before any matches are announced for Revolution, due to the many weeks between now and the pay-per-view. At some point, Moxley (still the AEW champion after defeating Eddie Kingston at Full Gear) will have to defend the championship against Omega (who won the number one contenders tournament by defeating Page on Saturday night).
