AEW Sign Indy Wrestler Anna Jay

An addition to the Women's roster...

In recent weeks, All Elite Wrestling has been on a small signing spree. Brodie Lee joined the young promotion and was revealed as The Dark Order's Exalted One, and Matt Hardy revived his Broken gimmick and joined The Elite.

Last night, AEW added another name to their roster as they announced the signing of indy wrestler Anna Jay. The Star Of The Show made her Dynamite debut last week in a losing effort to Hikaru Shida. Despite the loss, her performance seemingly impressed the powers at be.

AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes reacted to the signing on Twitter, as he wrote: "Hard times breed better men...and women. Anna Jay showed up and stepped up. Hung in there with an absolute killer like Shida! Congratulations."

Jay has only been wrestling for a short time and has primarily been working in Georgia Premier Wrestling. She was trained by QT Marshall whose wrestling school was used as the location for the most recent set of Dynamite tapings.
