Charlotte Flair Written Off WWE TV At WrestleMania Backlash

Charlotte Flair taking time off following WWE WrestleMania Backlash

Charlotte Flair is taking some time off.

After Flair dropped the SmackDown Women's Title to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash, Kayla Braxton announced in a backstage segment that Charlotte suffered a fractured radius during the match and would be out of action.

Flair and Rousey faced off in an "I Quit" Match for the gold at Sunday's pay-per-view. Down the stretch, Rousey locked in an Armbar through a steel chair and after Flair initially refused to give up, The Baddest Woman On The Planet wrenched back before the SmackDown Women's Champion uttered the words, "I quit."

How long Flair will be off WWE TV is currently unclear. The Queen announced ahead of WrestleMania 38 that she and fiancé Andrade El Idolo were getting married this summer in Mexico so it appears Flair will be away from WWE so they can tie the knot.

Since returning to WWE after WrestleMania 37, Flair has continued to win more championships and she is now a 13-time Women's Champion, having held the Raw and SmackDown Women's Titles in the last year.
