CM Punk Hopeful Of Being Involved At AEW All Out

CM Punk might be at AEW All Out in some capacity

Positive signs have emerged about CM Punk's foot injury.

The AEW World Champion was at Chicago's C2E2 convention over the weekend and Punk was seen signing autographs without the protective boot he was wearing as recently as last month at San Diego Comic-Con. Punk was also spotted walking into the C2E2 venue alongside Danhausen without any assistance.

Scrump from the PWT Cast also noted that Punk did ice his foot during the weekend but The Second City Saviour is hopeful of being at the All Out pay-per-view on September 4 in Chicago. Punk has an upcoming doctor's appointment which likely will reveal more about his status for the show.

This doesn't necessarily mean Punk will be in action at All Out, only that he is hopeful of being at the show in some capacity. A recent report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer noted Punk is more likely to have his AEW World Title unification match at Full Gear in November than All Out.

The 43-year-old has been out of action since June after he suffered a broken foot. Punk had only been AEW World Champion for a few days before the injury, having won the gold at Double Or Nothing from Hangman Page.
