Former WWE Superstar Heath Slater Appears On Raw

"A nice closing of a chapter"...

Back on April 15, Heath Slater was released by WWE along with 36 other Superstars. The releases came after the company announced they would be making cutbacks because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The One Man Band shockingly returned to Monday Night Raw last night to confront Drew McIntyre. Heath lambasted his friend for not contacting him after he was made unemployed, especially after he called Drew every day after his WWE release back in 2014. He then mentioned The Scottish Psychopath promised him a match before he was released and demanded they go one on one right now.

The match didn't last long as after a brief flurry of offence from Slater, McIntyre put him down with a Claymore after 24 seconds. The two Superstars then chased off Dolph Ziggler and embraced in the centre of the ring before making their way to the back.

This will seemingly be Slater's final WWE appearance as he said his match was "a nice closing of a chapter." The former SmackDown Tag Team Champion's 90-day non compete clause expires on July 15 and both Heath and IMPACT Wrestling have teased he is set to debut in the promotion on July 18, possibly as Rhino's new tag team partner.
