Matt Hardy Reveals His AEW Contract Allows Him To Work In NJPW

Some WONDERFUL news...

All Elite Wrestling has allowed two of their biggest stars in Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley to compete in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Both Jericho and Moxley have been featured prominently in the Japanese promotion, as The Painmaker defeated The Ace Of New Japan Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 14, and Moxley is currently in his second reign as IWGP United States Champion after he vanquished Lance Archer on January 4.

Now, another AEW star could find themselves making a trip to Japan in the near future as Matt Hardy revealed on Twitter that his contract with the young promotion allows him to work in New Japan. The Broken One isn't planning a long stint in NJPW, however, as he said he would like to compete at Wrestle Kingdom in some capacity, but that's all.

Hardy tweeted: "My contract would allow that. Truth be told, I'd love the opportunity to perform on a NJPW WrestleKingdom show in some capacity."

In the meantime, Hardy will compete on Dynamite and will go face to face with The Maker Of Pain on this week's episode.
