Multiple Title Matches Set For WWE King & Queen Of The Ring

New matches official for WWE King & Queen of the Ring

Two title matches have been announced for the upcoming King & Queen of the Ring pay-per-view.

It was revealed on Monday's episode of Raw that Becky Lynch will defend the Women's World Championship against Liv Morgan in Saudi Arabia. The match was made official following a confrontation between Morgan and Lynch on Raw, with Lynch pointing out that Liv had never defeated her. Morgan effectively earned the title shot last week by defeating Nia Jax.

Becky Lynch has been Women's World Champion since April 22, having won a Battle Royal to capture the vacant belt. Rhea Ripley had been Women's World Champion for over a year but she was forced to relinquish the belt due to injury.

The Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line at King & Queen of the Ring in a Triple Threat Match. Sami Zayn will defend the title against Chad Gable and Bronson Reed. The three men have been feuding in recent weeks and Zayn interfered in their match on Raw. Zayn then agreed to a Triple Threat later in the show.

King & Queen of the Ring will emanate from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 25.

Updated King & Queen of the Ring card:

  • Becky Lynch (c) vs. Liv Morgan - Women's World Championship
  • Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bronson Reed vs. Chad Gable - Triple Threat for the Intercontinental Championship
  • King of the Ring finals
  • Queen of the Ring finals
