Mustafa Ali Unsure Why Ciampa Attacked Him On WWE Raw
Mustafa Ali doesn't know why Ciampa levelled him
After six months away, Mustafa Ali returned to WWE TV on Monday's episode of Raw as he interrupted Theory's appearance on Miz TV.
In a segment that referenced Ali's WWE hiatus and the former SmackDown Hacker's desire to win the United States Championship from Theory, a match against The Miz was eventually set up.
Ali then defeated The A-Lister in their bout but the 36-year-old didn't have long to celebrate as he was laid out by the returning Ciampa before he could return to the back.
Why exactly Ciampa attacked Ali has not yet been revealed on WWE TV and the former RETRIBUTION leader admitted on Raw Talk he has no idea why The Blackheart levelled him.
"Attacked, brutalised, blindsided. Listen, I know exactly who Ciampa is, okay. But why he did what he did? I don't know. Honestly, right now, I don't care. One man, and one man only: Theory and the United States Championship," Ali said.
While Ali may want to continue his pursuit of the United States Title, a match against the two-time NXT Champion looks likely.
