Nita Strauss Wants To Wrestle And Team With Becky Lynch In WWE

Guitarist Nita Strauss believes she has the athletic ability to perform in a WWE ring. 

Strauss recently performed the National Anthem on Night One of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, and has previously played at WrestleMania 34, playing a large role in Shinsuke Nakamura's entrance in his WWE Championship match, while also performing with Lzzy Hale at WWE Evolution.

A long-time wrestling fan, Strauss feels she would be able to make the transition into becoming a superstar in WWE and believes she would be a high-flying type of performer. 

Speaking on SK Wrestling’s UnSKripted podcast, she said: "I’m pretty athletic already, so I imagine being a pretty athletic wrestler. If I was to ever get in the ring, hopefully someday and get to do a couple of spots, I’d like to have an interesting match.

"I don’t know if I can ever be as accomplished as the real Lucha Libre guys, but get some high-flying spots in. Get some interesting move sets in. That’s what I want to do."

Strauss' favourite superstar is Becky Lynch, and when asked about the possibility of forming a team with the former Women's champion and WrestleMania main-eventer, she added: "Exactly, Becky. Come on. I’m ready. Let’s go. I just got done working out at the gym. Let’s do it!"

It isn't the first time Strauss has discussed the possibility of stepping inside the ring, having originally floated the idea back in 2019.
