NWA Women's Tag Title Tournament Set For EmPowerrr
New champions are set to be crowned on August 28
The card for NWA’s first ever all-women’s PPV EmPowerrr has announced new stakes, as a four-team tournament is set to take place, with the winners being crowned the new NWA Women’s tag team Champions.
After announcing the first three times in previous weeks, the field has been set, with the announcement that The Freebabes are set to compete. The announcement was made on the GAW TV Podcast, with two out of Jazzy Yang, Hollyhood Haley J, and Miranda Gordy set to compete.
All members of The Freebabes are second generation talents, with Jazzy Yang the daughter of Jimmy Wang Yang, Haley J the daughter of Amazing Maria, and Miranda Gordy the daughter of legendary Fabulous Freebird Terry Bam Bam Gordy.
The Freebabes will be going against the teams of Renee Michelle & Sahara 7, AEW’s KiLynn King & Red Velvet, and The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle).
