NXT Star Turns Heel

With NXT TakeOver: Tampa having been cancelled, the next few weeks of NXT TV promise to be stacked. This week's episode included two main event worthy bouts as six women fought in a Ladder match to determine the number one contender for Charlotte Flair's NXT Women's title, and Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa looked to settle their long-running rivalry once and for all. 

With both Gargano and Ciampa exhausted, Candice LeRae made her way to the ring and Low Blowed her husband as she decried how his rivalry with his former best friend had changed him. The Sicilian Psychopath then told Gargano he was sorry for what he was about to do. However, before Ciampa could win the match, he suddenly suffered a low blow from behind by LeRae as The Canadian Goddess joined her husband in turning heel. 

Johnny began to smile after witnessing his wife's actions and revealed he was wearing a cup the whole time. Gargano then picked up his longtime rival and hit him with the Jay Driller for the pinfall victory. With the win, a heel power couple was created in NXT.
