OTT Announce They Have Been Forced To Close Their Wrestling School

Over The Top Wrestling has gone through a tough period because of the coronavirus pandemic. They were set to hold their biggest event of the year, ScrapperMania 6, on March 14 in Dublin, Ireland but were forced to cancel the show after all mass gatherings in the country were banned. The show was going to be main evented by David Starr vs. Jon Moxley and other stars like PAC, Toni Storm, and More Than Hype were scheduled to be in action. 

Over the weekend, OTT's Joey Cabray announced on Twitter the promotion had been forced to close their wrestling school. He revealed their landlord had been unwilling to work with them despite the financial difficulties many companies and people find themselves in because of the pandemic.

Cabray tweeted: "Today we lost our school, a landlord unwilling to work with us in any form. This school meant so much to the scene, trainees and trainers. We will be back with a new and better location soon."

The Irish Ace Jordan Devlin later showed his disgust for the landlord, as he tweeted: "Landlord refused to accept anything less than 100% of the rent we usually pay. In a time he knows it's impossible to earn that rent. I'm glad we're moving, glad we're not giving a man like that any more money. The building isn't the school, it's the people in it. We'll go again."
