Report: AEW Expected To Announce New Or Altered TV Deal

A New or amended AEW TV deal is on the way

All Elite Wrestling's future on Warner Bros. Discovery platforms looks bright.

It emerged this week that AEW's YouTube shows, Dark and Dark: Elevation, had been scrapped due to the upcoming reveal of the promotion's rumoured third TV show, Collision. The new show will air on Saturday nights on TNT in the United States and is reportedly set to premiere on June 17. It is believed the inaugural episode will feature the return of CM Punk and another major debut or return.

It was noted that part of the reason for Dark and Dark: Elevation's cancellation is because part of the deal for Collision is that AEW programming will be exclusive to Warner Bros. Discovery platforms in the United States.

In an update, Fightful Select noted that a new or altered deal is expected to be announced at some point in May. Talent AEW are considering signing will also continue to get opportunities, but they will more than likely be booked for Ring of Honor at first as opposed to on Dark or Dark: Elevation.

After Collision debuts in June, AEW will produce five hours of pro wrestling for TV every week with Dynamite on Wednesday nights, Rampage on Friday nights, and Collision on Saturday nights.
