Report: AEW Talent Pulled From Indy Shows Due To Dark Taping

AEW Dark forces a change to indy events

All Elite Wrestling talent have been pulled from upcoming independent wrestling events by Tony Khan's promotion due to a scheduling conflict.

AEW's Lee Moriarty and Skye Blue were scheduled to be in Crown Point, Indiana, on May 1 for Black Label Pro's Fancy Wrestling event, while JD Drake, Top Flight, and Wheeler Yuta were set to be in action at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Delivering The Goods on the same day.

PWTorch have reported that talent were held off those events by All Elite Wrestling, though, as the promotion have moved the previously scheduled Dark taping from April 30 to Sunday, May 1.

Top Flight's Darius Martin is said to be out with a long-term injury which would have prevented him from performing at PWG anyway, but Dante Martin would have still been able to wrestle at Delivering The Goods if not for the scheduling conflict.

Black Label Pro also noted that former IMPACT talent Jake Something would be unable to perform at Fancy Wrestling so the former Cousin Jake may well be making his AEW debut at the Dark taping.

AEW have taped episodes of Dark at Orlando's Universal Studios for the past several months. The matches then air on Tuesday nights on the promotion's YouTube channel.
