Report: Impact Wrestling Heavily Pursuing Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson

Club meeting at Slammiversary?

The non-compete clauses of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are set to expire just before Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary next month, something Impact officials are more than a privy to.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Impact are "heavily pursuing" Gallows and Anderson, in an attempt to get the two to appear at Slammiversary on Saturday, July 18.

Satin's report claims that Impact's offers to Gallows and Anderson are "incredibly strong", and would allow the duo to work in Japan.

Impact Vice President Scott D'Amore has a history with both men, and tried bringing Anderson to Impact at one point. Gallows previously worked for Impact under the name Doc Gallows, as part of the Aces and Eights stable.

Both men were let go from WWE on April 15, along with a slew of other wrestlers and staffers, as part of a widespread housecleaning. Their last notable moment in the company came at WrestleMania 36, where they ran interference for AJ Styles in the Boneyard match against The Undertaker.

Gallows and Anderson are set to make announcements about their future on July 18, the day of the pay-per-view.
