Report: NXT UK Close To Signing Several New Talents

Could see some new additions...

Gary Cassidy of Inside the Ropes is reporting that WWE NXT UK is close to acquiring several notable talents, as many of them are in London for WWE's latest batch of tapings, in order to receive a closer look.

NXT UK talent arrived at the UK's Performance Center for a three-week training session ahead of the next set of BT Sport Studio tapings, with most of the prospects attending.

One wrestler not at the camp, but has reportedly signed with WWE, is former World of Sport star Adam Maxted. The 6'3" Maxted has also wrestled for ICW, and also appeared on the reality series Love Island.

Also close to signing is veteran Sha Samuels, who was offered a contract back in January, but the move wasn't finalized, due to him being injured.

Also present at the camp are Aleah James, Molly Spartan, and Tony Gill. James was in attendance at the last set of UK tapings.

The report also claims that, "another thus-far unnamed, but prominent, talent from the UK indie scene has also signed and is in attendance at the camp."
