Report: NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin Moved To June 2021

It'd already been moved once...

NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin has had its date moved for a second time, and will now take place on Sunday, June 20, 2021, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

The event was originally scheduled to emanate from Dublin's 3Arena, on Sunday, April 26 of this year, but was postponed due to the COVID pandemic. It was moved to Sunday, October 25 (the same date as Hell in a Cell), but has now been moved once more.

Dublin's 3Arena is still the scheduled venue of record for TakeOver.

NXT UK had just recently resumed filming new content, with the first fresh episode airing on September 17.

Unless other events are scheduled in between time, this will be the first NXT UK TakeOver since TakeOver: Blackpool II, which occurred on January 12 of this year. It would also be the fourth UK TakeOver in total, since the series began in January of 2019.

That most recent TakeOver featured WALTER retaining the NXT UK championship over Joe Coffey, while Mark Coffey and Wolfgang retained the NXT UK Tag Team belts in a four-way ladder match.
