Report: Otis & Chad Gable 'On The Fence' About Alpha Academy Split

A popular WWE tag team could be set to split up.

According to WRKD Wrestling, WWE have discussed separating Alpha Academy but Otis and Chad Gable are believed to be "on the fence" about a split due to their close friendship. If the tag team were to go their separate ways, Gable would be pushed as a singles star, while Otis would transition to a comedy role in Maximum Male Models.

"More on last night's tweet: There have been discussions of pushing Chad Gable as more of a serious singles star while moving Otis to Maximum Male Models in a comedy role. Gable and Otis are on the fence about splitting up due to their long time, close friendship," WRKD Wrestling tweeted

Otis and Chad Gable have been teaming together since late 2020 and they are former Raw Tag Team Champions. Dissension has been teased within Alpha Academy in recent weeks as Maxxine Dupri has looked to recruit Otis to Maximum Male Models which has distracted Gable during his recent singles matches on Raw.
