Report: Update On Lita's WWE Status
Lita may not be seen on WWE programming for a while
Lita recently returned to WWE television to aid Becky Lynch in her feud against Damage CTRL, and it even saw the pair win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, marking Lita’s first title reign in 17 years after she last won the WWE Women’s Championship in 2006.
Her recent return run saw her also compete at WrestleMania 39, teaming up with Lynch and Trish Stratus to take on Damage CTRL in a winning effort. She was then set to defend her titles against Liv Morgan & Raquel Gonzalez, but was attacked and ambushed by Trish Stratus ahead of her title defence.
Whilst her long-time friend and rival Trish Stratus is still involved on WWE programming after a recent heel turn against Lynch, Lita’s time in WWE looks to be done for now. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that WWE looks to have no current plans to use Lita, though it would be wise to expect her to come back into the storyline at some point down the line.
