Report: Update On Rumours Of Brock Lesnar Finishing Up With WWE

There has been uncertainty around Brock Lesnar's long-term future in recent weeks following rumours the multi-time world champion had told people that he would be leaving WWE soon and word of a possible Lesnar exit had circulated within the company.

In an update on the situation, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lesnar's plans are being "kept top secret" and only Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Triple H, and possibly two others know what the former UFC Heavyweight Champion is planning to do. 

If Lesnar is set to leave WWE, Meltzer speculated that his WrestleMania 39 match with Omos would be a sign as Lesnar put Drew McIntyre over "as big and as clean as he possibly could" in his WWE retirement match at WrestleMania 36. 

Lesnar was away from WWE until SummerSlam 2021, when he came out of retirement for the money. The 45-year-old spent the next year feuding with Roman Reigns and he has since worked a programme with Bobby Lashley that has not had a definitive conclusion. As mentioned, Lesnar will face Omos at WrestleMania on either April 1 or April 2.
