Update On Samoa Joe's WWE Status

Some good news for The Samoan Submission Machine...

Back on February 25, WWE announced Samoa Joe had been suspended for 30 days for violating the company's wellness policy. They wrote on WWE.com: "WWE has suspended Nuufolau Seanoa (Samoa Joe) for 30 days effective Monday, February 24, for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy."

Those 30 days were up on March 24 and Joe is now free to return to the ring. Fans shouldn't expect him to be on WWE TV anytime soon, however. The Samoan Submission Machine suffered his second concussion of 2020 on February 20 while filming a WWE commercial. During a routine table spot, Joe hit his head off the ground, causing the injury, and he will be out of action for "a considerable amount of time."

The injury came only 10 days after Joe returned from a concussion that he suffered during the January 27 episode of Monday Night Raw. In a Raw Tag Team Championship match against Seth Rollins and Murphy, Joe tried to hit a Suicide Dive on The Monday Night Messiah's disciple but his head bounced as he hit the ground, causing him to be pulled from the match.
