Report: Update On WWE's Plans For 2022 Hall Of Fame Ceremony

Hall Of Fame plans revealed

An update has emerged on the 2022 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE are currently planning to hold the ceremony on Friday, April 1 following that night's live edition of SmackDown at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

It won't be a separate event for fans in attendance, however, and will be a free addition to the SmackDown show.

The ceremony will also air live on the WWE Network and Peacock from 10:30 pm ET until 12 am ET.

No inductees into the WWE Hall Of Fame 2022 class have been announced as of yet.

2022 will be the first live Hall Of Fame ceremony in three years. The 2020 ceremony was scrapped due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 and 2021 classes were then inducted ahead of WrestleMania 37 in a taped ceremony from inside the ThunderDome.

The likes of the nWo, Eric Bischoff and JBL have been inducted into the Hall Of Fame in recent years.
